| MCEA Discussion Board RulesPlease keep these rules in mind as you use MCEA’s Discussion Boards. Thanks for participating.
Hacking - This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone else's password and succeeding counts as hacking.
ALL CAPS - We know, we know... everyone wants to be heard. With so many topics and posts, it's hard to stand out from the crowd. But did you know that TALKING IN ALL CAPS online indicates that you are shouting? It's a very aggressive way to post and it doesn't come off as being very friendly.
Posting Personal Info & Advertising – Please be aware that posts on the forum are visible to everyone. We encourage you to not post any identifying information about yourself or others (i.e. last name, phone numbers, street address, etc.). Also, the forum is for professional purposes. You are not permitted to advertise nor make money using the forum. Any personal posts will be removed.
Discrimination - Insults pertaining to anyone’s beliefs, religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.
Bullying & Flaming - Flaming is the act of going off-topic and beginning an argument with another member. This takes away from the topic as a whole. Flaming and bullying hurts the member(s) and the forum community. Please do not participate in these acts.
Profanity or Obscene Content – Offensive and obscene content have no place in the forum. If you see words in your post being replaced with ****, your words have been identified as being offensive. Please edit your post.
Double Posting - Posting many times in a row reduces the quality of the board. Any double posts will be either removed or merged into a single thread.
Spamming – You may think it only applies to junk mail or ads, but it also applies to the unnecessary posts that don't contribute any useful information to a topic. Spam can include single word replies to posts. Please post relevant, informative comments. Spam will be removed.
Topic Bumping – Be aware that some topics/threads posted may not receive replies. Please do not re-post the topic in another area, but keep it where it is relevant. Eventually, it may receive comments and it is important to keep the history information.
Illegal Activity – Do not break the law using our forum.
Violation of any of the above rules may result in you being permanently suspended and banned from board.
